Woodworkers Dream!

A woodworkers dream, there is a 10’X16’ fully rigged shop with lots of power, lights and storage with an additional 5’X16’ shed attached as a convenient location for all garden supplies and equipment with a lumber rack behind. A big roll-up door and ramp make it very convenient for big jobs. As a bonus, the access to the home's crawl space is back here, too. New insulation and foundation vents keep it dry and it is plastic covered as well. I can store things under here all year long!

Close to everything...

What a location! Just 4.5 miles from the Ranch Rd. access to Hwy 70 bypass (Exit 303) and 10 miles from I-95 (exit 95) in Smithfield, we are perfectly positioned to major highways but far enough away to keep things quiet. We can be at the White Oak Mall in Garner or the outlet mall in Smithfield in less than 15 minutes. Lunch or dinner at Raleigh Times in downtown Raleigh is an easy 25 minutes away. And Talecris, one of the areas major employers is only 10 minutes away.

From the homeowners....

"From the front you wouldn’t believe it but this home is a 4br, 3ba home with a Grand Dining Room, large kitchen and a huge great room. Surrounded by woods, it is one of the quietest places we’ve ever lived, if you don’t mind the dueling owl calls at night and the cry of the occasional eagle or hawk in the mornings. Squirrels bark and birds chirp all day long here. Sure the neighborhood children run and play but this quiet house keeps any passing noise outside. At the very back of the lot is Little Creek, which winds its way across Johnston County and is part of the Neuse River system. At the banks of the creek, just behind our property, is a nice little sandy beach where peaceful moments can be enjoyed with the sounds of gurgling water and the frequent white tail deer visiting. Walking and biking paths have been cut through the woods which everyone enjoys. We’ve been clearing an additional 45 feet back from the fence to expand the yard in the future, which already has a 14’X10’ concrete pad and a water hookup for building a gazebo or whatever you like. Expensive plants like boxwoods and Japanese Maples, a light-post in the yard, fruit trees, split rail fencing and a wide concrete driveway make this one of the most desirable houses in this area. The cozy cottage look from the front, but big and expansive spaces inside make it a wonderful home. We loved it here." -Al and Judy
